Jiamao Lin林佳茂

My work spans two connected tracks. In astrophysics, I study white dwarfs across star clusters, compact binaries and magnetic accretion systems using wide-field surveys. In AI, I build locally fine-tuned astronomy LLMs and auditable research agents, alongside multimodal mobile GUI agents at ZTE and knowledge-graph and experiment-design agents with collaborators at Peking University.

Experience & internships

2026 — present

Mobile GUI Agent — ZTE Corporation AI engineer

A phone-side GUI agent: a Planner (4B multimodal, reads screen + installed apps) and a self-trained 32B Worker that grounds each step into taps — a true agent-to-agent (A2A) system on the OpenClaw framework.

2025.10 — present

Astro Agent — astronomy research agent open source

Solo build: a 16-node LangGraph pipeline with filesystem-as-memory, dual-track RAG, a typed knowledge graph and a self-evolving toolbox. Helped produce a published paper.

2026.04 — 2026.05

AI Application Engineer — Blue Moon (蓝月亮)

A "deterministic engine + LLM agent" hybrid for large-scale advertising-creative analysis, pushing quantitative logic into a trusted backend to kill hallucination. Cut monthly review effort 95%+.

2026.02 — 2026.04

Knowledge-graph & experiment-design agent — Peking University algorithm lead

Schema-based KG (entity/relation extraction → quality-scored triples → Neo4j), a dual-track RAG store, and a LangGraph Lab Agent that designs and validates materials-science experiments.

2023.03 — 2025.10

Core algorithms — magnetic-field modelling & time-series mining

Differential-evolution + L-BFGS-B white-dwarf field inversion, Numba-accelerated spectral fitting, and SVM/CNN classification over ~10⁸ ZTF light curves. Served a national survey programme.
